2. Purpose of PAIA Manual
This PAIA Manual is useful for the public to:
Check the categories of records held by a body which are available without a person having to submit a formal PAIA request.
Understand how to make a request for access to a record of the body, by providing a description of the subjects on which the body holds records and the categories of records held on each subject.
Know the description of the records of the body which are available in accordance with any other legislation.
Access all the relevant contact details of the Information Officer and Deputy Information Officer.

4. Guide on How to Use PAIA and How to Obtain Access to the Guide
The Regulator has, in terms of section 10(1) of PAIA, updated and made available the revised Guide on how to use PAIA. The Guide is available on the Information Regulator’s website (https://inforegulator.org.za).

General Information:
Companies Act Records
Financial Records (Annual Financial Statements, Tax Returns, Accounting Records)
Personnel Documents and Records
Client Related Records:
Records provided by a client to a third party acting for or on behalf of Tigris Wealth.
Records provided by a third party.
Records generated by or within Tigris Wealth relating to its clients, including transactional records.
Records Held on Information Technology:
This includes records held on our internal servers (Synology), cloud platforms (Exchange), and third-party service providers (Elite Wealth).
6. Description of the Subjects on Which the Body Holds Records and Categories of Records Held on Each Subject
Finance: Financial statements, Asset register.
Human Resources: Payroll records, Employment contracts, Leave records.
Client Services: Financial Needs Analysis (FNA), Record of Advice, Policy schedules, Claims history.
7. Processing of Personal Information
7.1 Purpose of Processing:
Fulfilling statutory obligations (FICA, FAIS).
Staff administration.
Keeping of accounts and records.
Marketing and advertising (where consent is given).
7.2 Description of the Categories of Data Subjects and of the Information or Categories of Information relating thereto:
Clients: Name, ID number, Address, Banking details, Financial history.
Employees: Name, ID number, Banking details, Tax number, Disciplinary records.
Service Providers: Registration number, VAT number, Contact details.
7.3 The Recipients or Categories of Recipients to Whom the Personal Information may be Supplied:
Regulatory authorities (FSCA, FIC).
Product providers (Insurers/Investment Platforms).
Third-party service providers (IT support, Auditors).
7.4 Planned Transborder Flows of Personal Information:
Tigris Wealth utilizes cloud-based storage and services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Softr) which may host data on servers located outside of South Africa. We ensure that such providers comply with international data protection laws (e.g., GDPR).
7.5 General Description of Information Security Measures:
Tigris Wealth employs up-to-date technology to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Personal Information under its care. Measures include: Firewalls, Virus protection software, Data encryption, Secure access control, and Regular backups.
8. Prescribed Fees
The fees for requesting records are prescribed by the Regulations. A requestor is required to pay the prescribed fees before a request will be processed.
